Changs Taekwondo – Purple Belt Requirements

Hello everyone! The weather is getting hot, maybe students are finding it hard to do their best. Little do they know that by training harder in the summer they can improve faster!! So let’s have all our  Taekwondo Surrey Students and Taekwondo Cloverdale Students work super hard through this awesome weather. This week we’d like to talk about

Our purple belts and their Discipline Requirements.

Every purple belt must:
Know how to take care of their belt
After every training session students must fold their belts properly and place them in a safe place until their next class.
Know how to tie their belt
After training for at about a year and a half we expect our students to know how to tie their belts by themselves.
Memorize the Taekwondo Oath:

As a student of Chang’s Tae Kwon Do Martial Arts, I do solemnly pledge to abide by the rules and regulations of the Chang’s Tae Kwon Do Martial Arts. To strive always to be modest, courteous and respectful to all members, in particular my seniors, to put the art into use only for self defense or defense of the weak and never to abuse my knowledge of the art.
