Well the weather lately has officially confirmed that we are now in Autumn mode. It’s good we’re living on the wet west coast! We have a new word of the week for everyone:

How to spend the best thanksgiving day, and other tips from Chang’s Taekwondo South Surrey/Cloverdale.

Every year in October we celebrate the new harvest with Thanksgiving! Earlier in September we shared with ourstudents at Chang’s Taekwondo martial arts the korean holiday of Choo-Soek, we celebrated it by sharing a korean delicacy known a Song-Pyeon. It is basically sesame seed paste wrapped in a rice cake pastry.

We give thanks for many things at thanksgiving. We are thankful for the roof over our head, for the food on our table, for our warm beds at night, for all the excellent things we learn at school, and we are generally thankful for being strong and healthy!

“Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.” — Oprah Winfrey

Our Chang’s Taekwondo students should know how to thank to all your parents who makes you possible to come and learn the Taekwondo. Furthermore, we at Chang’s Taekwondo would like to wish everyone a good holiday, filled with family time and delicious Turkey.
