Taekwondo Camps

Hello everyone! Each year (almost every year… looking at you 2020…) our Chang’s Taekwondo Martial Arts schools in South Surrey, Cloverdale, Tsawwassen, Aldergrove, and Mission host camps in the spring and summer. What sets these camps apart from other camps offered by the recreation centres and other pre-schools or daycares?Useful and practical techniquesAt our Taekwondo camps we practice useful and practical techniques. From self defence motions to break falls, to kicks and punches and building our self esteem… there are many useful tools to gain from training in our camps; and Taekwondo in general!Fun and Applicable gamesWe play many games during our training in the camps, and they are geared towards improving reaction speed, agility, hand-eye or foot-eye coordination and more! Each game is useful in some way to the training we do on the mats!Muscle building and stamina training exercisesFrom jumping jacks to burpees, pushups to setups, stretching and cardio we do it all! Every single day of Taekwondo camp involves sweating through some kind of targeting stretching and muscle building. Strong minds, strong hearts, and strong bodies!Mat chats to build characterEach day of spring camp will involve a mat chat. These chats involve each student in discussing important character attributes which will contribute to the training of our budding martial artists. From respect to courtesy, integrity to perseverance and beyond! Taekwondo is not just punching and kicking! Our Taekwondo Spring Camps are full and underway this week, and summer is just around the corner! Keep your eyes peeled for a chance to sign up for one of our Taekwondo Summer Camps!☀Train hard, and see you on the mats.👊Changs Taekwondo Camps
