03 Mar Chang’s Taekwondo Word Of the Week – Perseverance
We begin this week with the anticipation of spring! Last week’s snowfall was quite unexpected and now we can all relate in being anxious for some nice weather! At any rate this week’s word of the week for both locations of Chang’s Taekwondo Martial Arts South Surrey and Cloverdale is:
Perseverance: Never giving up.
Perseverance is required to achieve anything worthwhile. Blackbelt would be the most relevant example of this! Without constantly doing your best, learning your poomsae, practicing your kicks, and yelling loud how could you achieve blackbelt in Taekwondo Martial Arts! It isn’t easy, and that is what makes achieving blackbelt such a big deal. That is why your friends and family are so impressed by your martial arts accomplishments.
“Perseverance is failing 19 times and succeeding the 20th.” – Julie Andrews
As long as you never give up, you will definitely achieve your dreams. So dream big
