05 Jul Perseverance: I will never give up – Martial Arts South Surrey
Hello everyone! This week we have some of our Instructors off visiting Las Vegas, Nevada! There is a large Martial Arts convention there going on now. There are many seminars and classes to attend, and we will make our Instructors the most knowledgable ever! This week we would like to talk about our new Powerful Word of the Month…
Perseverance: I will never give up
It’s important to note that even with just the last two powerful words you can really showcase your great character. If you are Trustworthy and Perseverant, you will make many friends and accomplish many great things in your life. That’s with only two powerful words! Imagine a whole year, or even the length of your Taekwondo training! Powerful words are a great way to help our students at Chang’s Taekwondo
Martial Arts in South Surrey, Cloverdale and Tsawwassen learn about how to be a good person.
Perseverance means you will not quit when it gets tough. Imagine you are a white belt, and you learn the front kick and axe kick. Things are going well! You work hard and progress to yellow, where you learn more advanced kicks. Do you give up while trying to learn 180? Do you give up when you learn side kick and back kick? Never! We want you to embody the word of the month, encompass it in your everyday life! In everything you do, don’t give up!
This week’s objectives are:
- Tell your parents what Perseverance means.
- Pick something you have to do and finish it.
- Take a step towards a big goal you have.
As always, if you complete any or all of these objectives simply come talk to your Instructors and you will receive some bonus stars!**
