Training Key Point: Focus – Martial Arts

Hello everyone! We have our exciting buddy coming up this weekend. Please check changstaekwondo.ca for the times at our 3 Chang’s Taekwondo Martial Arts locations in South Surrey, Cloverdale and Tsawwassen.

This week, we’d like to talk about our 5th key point to generating maximum power. While we also need to work on other key points, having good focus is very important.

Changs Taekwondo Martial Arts
Imagine punching and kicking without looking at the target. You don’t know where to strike! You will start to lose your confidence and miss the target every time. Many times we see new students who are not looking at their taget when they attack. This is a bad habit, one we will help all our students at Chang’s Taekwondo Martial Arts South Surrey, Cloverdale and Tsawwassen break!

When you look at the target, you will build up confidence and you can concentrate. By focusing you can use all the key points mentioned thus far to generate enough power in the right spot.
“Concentrate all your thoughts upon the work at hand. The sun’s rays do not burn until brought to a focus.” – Alexander Graham Bell

We are highly anticipating the summer season, so much so that we have already planned 3 summer camps! One camp in July, and two camps in August. There will even be one in Cloverdale for the first time ever! Let’s get excited for Summer everyone.
