23 Jun Changs Taekwondo – Cooperation
Hello everyone! We had a very entertaining first Taekwondo Fun Day on the past saturday. Everyone had so much fun, and we are already looking forward to next year! We had a cup building contest, a paper airplane contest, puzzles and more! Now to the task at hand, today we will be talking about this week’s word:
Cooperation: the act of working or acting together to achieve a common aim.
Even though Taekwondo is a more individual Martial Art and sport, there is still required Cooperation. Having enough discipline to train by yourself is great, however being motivated to train by having peers and ‘rivals’ is much better! Besides, who will hold the target for you to practice your techniques? Friends also help teach you things you might have missed, and you can teach them; which will increase your confidence!
“We all do better when we work together. Our differences do matter, but our common humanity matters more.” – Bill Clinton
