Going Strong with your Training

Hello everyone! We are well into the new year and hope everyone is still going strong with their training. Chang’s Taekwondo Instructors from South Surrey/White Rock, Cloverdale/Langley, Tsawwassen, Aldergrove, and Mission all want you to keep training hard and that we are here to support you.

Today’s blog is about using different resources to get the most out of your training. Now your best resource is of course your Instructors! They want to help you, and love it when you ask questions in order to improve yourself.

Those students who ask questions on how, and why we do things are often the ones who excel in martial arts and enjoy it the most.

The 2nd resource we can often use is friends and classmates.

Sometimes we may forget simple skills or small techniques and they can be a great resource to help you out. They may not be able to go into great detail like your Instructors but working together is a big part of Taekwondo.

Have you seen our youtube channel, Facebook pages, or instagrams. We have many skills and more are being added all the time! Check it out.

The final resource is especially important for those who want to push themselves or prepare for a big test or more importantly a Black Belt test. This would be private lessons. Private lessons help you work on what you need most and can be very useful. Please talk to your Head Instructor for more info!
