Spring Break

Hello everyone! Students from Chang’s Taekwondo in South Surrey, Cloverdale, Tsawwassen, Aldergrove, and Mission are enjoying their well-deserved Spring Break vacation! Let’s make a plan together on how to spend more time practicing each morning!Let’s break it down:During Spring Break, we have an extra 6-8 hours free every single day. That’s conservatively 84 hours over the next two weeks to enjoy ourselves, spend time with family, and recharge. How much time will you…Can you…Use to practice your Taekwondo skills? Will it be 5 minutes a day? Will it be 10 minutes a day?30 minutes?1 Hour?Whatever you choose, make sure you train every. Single. Day.5 minutes a day for 6 days is 30 minutes.THIS IS WAY BETTER THAN 30 MINUTES IN ONE DAY.5 + 5 + 5 + 5 + 5 + 5 is GREATER than 30 x 1We’ve talked about it before, but here is what you can practice.

  1. Poomsae
  2. Kicking Combination
  3. Board Breaking
  4. All kicking techniques
  5. Rolling
  6. Body Defence
  7. Punching
  8. Stances
  9. Pushups
  10. Situps
  11. Stretching

The possibilities are endless!“We don’t rise to the level of our expectations, we fall to the level of our training.”Train hard, enjoy your break, and see you on the mats.👊 Preparing for School Changs Taekwondo
